This course provides strategies to help non-native English speakers improve their formal oral presentation skills. Organization, presentation style, pronunciation, and cross-cultural issues will be addressed
This course provides strategies to help non-native English speakers improve their formal oral presentation skills. Organization, presentation style, pronunciation, and cross-cultural issues will be addressed. Presentations are developed through a drafting process and practiced at least three times each. Students will be videotaped, and the viewing of the videotapes will be an integral part of the self-assessment process. Individual feedback from the instructor and class participants will be given continually throughout the course.
