Open and Distance Learning (ODL) is a general term for the use of telecommunication to provide or enhance learning. Around the world, the academic community is discovering and exploring the Internet, teleconferencing, and related means to achieve an extended classroom or learning experience.

International Islamic College introduced new mode of learning known as Open and Distance Learning (ODL) starting from 2018 with TWO (2) existing diploma programs which are Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) and Diploma in Islamic Early Childhood Education (DCE). After 2 two years , IIC added 4 more programs which are Diploma in Information Technology(DIT) ,Diploma in Halal Management(DHM) , Diploma in Office Management (DMS) and Diploma in Law (DIL).

In International Islamic College , we are conduct the ODL classes through learning remotely where , students are not required to come over the campus for the Face-to-Face (F2F) session as the session can be conducted over the video conferencing. This is to meet the students needs especially those who stay outside Klang Valley. This will allow the ODL students to attend the session with other students online.

These programs will be conducted online throughout the semester including the final examinations.
